Hey guys , I've never got any technical problems with Gw , but this is just weird

So with the new interface update , Gw auto started downloading it, no problem at all, I was excited to see the update
but than I went on my warrior, who is currentely in camp rankor...
After a few seconds, I noticed that gw was downloading it :| around 4500 files....and it's going realy slow ! I'm getting around 80 - 140kb/second, but still, after 5 mins I was at 2% :|

it started to go a bit faster after 20% ... now i'm at 50 and i'm getting 1% / 2 seconds

my .dat file is at 2 gigs, so why is gw downloading everything again ?
or is it just downloading the new updates a bit more ?

I'll try to go to antother place once rankor is loaded, maybe I don't have to download that than :|

Tried port sledge - had to download around 10 files, took 10 seconds

tried droks, it stood still at 0%

than got an error that says I'm having some problems with my internet - but msn and IE are doing just fine
tried to log on, went on warrior, who was still in port sledge, and port sledge had to download again

...

oke, now droks worked - had to download around 20 files, took 2 secs...

This is weird :| but I guess my problem is solved, so could this be closed ?sorry

mine is doing the exact same thing bt keeps compleatly freezing my computer up meaning i cnat do anythin while it loads i think im gonna try and close all programs and then try to laod it up and hope it doesnt freeze up. my chars are only in the guild hall so there shouldnt be any problems rly

The download is around the 400MB-450MB mark, I just left it at the selection screen and went for a smoke. Then once it had downloaded I applied the -image switch and let it de-compress everything.

ye, i have the same problem. for wxample have to download 4,500 files for ToA. Downloading rate is really slow. It starts at 160kb/s n then goes down to 1kb/s n so again. I really don't know what to do n why is that going on anyways. I wanna play the game

seems to be a lot of lag also
